Many important characters in Slam Dunk are not listed as such.
1. Sakuragi's friends Youhei Mito, Yuji Okusu, Nozomi Takamiya, and Chuuichirou Noma appear prominantly in nearly every episode yet are all listed as minor characters rather than secondary. 2. Important/Notable rival team members like Maki and Sendou are listed appropriately as secondary chararcters, while others like Kicchou Fukuda, Hikoichi Aida, Moichi Taoka, Kenji Fujima, Toru Hanagata, and Souchirou Jin are listed as minor characters. 3. In Movie 1 Haruko Akagi is listed as a minor character rather than secondary. 4. In Movie 2 Hikoichi Aida and Fujii are listed as secondary characters rather than minor (Aida only appears in a couple of scenes). 5. In Movie 3, Youhei Mito is listed as secondary rather than minor while Haruko Akagi, Takenori Akagi, and Eri Fujisawa are listed as minor rather than secondary. Also, some characters are listed as appearing in the TV series when they don't: Miura, Nangou Kouichirou, Mayuzumi, Hayama, and Yuuki. Furthermore, Eri Fujisawa is listed in Movie 1 despite only appearing in Movie 3. Finally, in Movie 3 Nobuyuki Hiyama is credited for playing Micheal Okita (in addition to his actual v.a., Toshio Furukawa), and likewise in Movie 4 Manami Nakayama is credited for playing Akane Mizusawa (in addition to her proper v.a.).
