On an X board that normally has good info, I saw a "preview" for the Tokyopop release of Tokyo Babylon that seems to have undergone...bizarre and disturbing changes.
Take a peek: http://www.voy.com/104452/1954.html Does anyone a) know if this is true and/or b) agree with me that, if it is, Tokyopop is seriously smoking something? [EDIT - Joke Tag added. -C] |

It looks....really fake. I mean, look at the top text bubble...see where it's sloppily scribbled out? Yeah, I wouldn't take it seriously until you see the previews on Tokyopop.

That's obviously fake. You can see where the person took a white paint tool to the original text and typed over it.

Lol, I assure you that it's a joke. Tokyo pop would use a better scan, level out the manga, get rid of the gutter, use a different font, and usually do something with the sound effects. That, and the joker's name seems to be on the bottom: Leareth

sorry, i'm new, i'm from germany and i have problems with your language^^° But here in Germany you can buy Tokyo Babylon #1 since 2 weeks (?) Its really cooool! |
