I am almost done with a probject I have been working on but now i am stuck with what to do next. It there some sort of guideline on what to do with new underground manga? Should i just host a webpage, advertise my manga and hope for the best or is there a place where i could get it checked out and published? Thank you

You should promote it like you would promote your own band. You could produce scans and then create a PDF document to host on your website as one option. Also, you could take it to a Comic/Hobby Store in your area--I know the Hobby Stop in my area carries locally produced comics. You may have to take your art to a Copy Centre to have it reproduced and bound.
The best idea is to visit a Hobby Stop and ask them what people in your area do with their creations--maybe if they like your material they'll help you out with some of the costs and promo material that they usually put in their bags with any purchases. |

Is your project manga related? I think Tokyopop is running a Rising Star contest.
But first, you should print your stuff yourself and distrube it locally to get feedback on your work. I know a lot of people that think they can be manga artest when they're too blind to see that their work suck. You can promote it online but online critism are usually made by closed minded individual. Who knows, maybe when I start my own manga publishing company after college, I could be looking at your work. |

hmm, those seems to be very good idea. When i'm finally ready to promote and distribute it, i will make sure to look for you and many others who will give me REAL criticism on my work. And i will be sure to ask my local store to help me.. i'm actually friends with a manager of Forbidden Planet in NY... so he oculd probably help me out.. but thanks again for tellin me what to do.
