I saw the first OAV on the Action Channel a few years ago. I didn't like it all that much, but I was young. I didn't understand the story and I also found those boy and girl characters kind of annoying, but maybe it was just bad dubbing. Razz

I downloaded the first five episodes. Truly, not worth my time. I hated the series, felt WAY too much like DBZ. The story moved along way too fast and didn't explain squat. The main character wanders about, drinking, breaking swords with her skin and is some uber-OMG fighter. It felt like some guys trying to cash in on the DBZ craze or some crap like that. Not even worth a like, really.

Agreed. Not very good....

The art is good, but that's about it. Story and character expo are pretty poor....

The OVAs were decent but presented out of order just like SHamanic Princess. THe tv series had some of the worst character designs. You'd be much better off reading the manga instead of watching the animes.

The TV Series is much better then the OVA. It starts out pretty fast and doesn't give you much background, but what series give the full background off the bat.

Matter of opinion but in the tv series the character designs and the quality of the animation itself, was unbearable to watch.
