This game apparently ties the stories of those two games together into one massive triology, or so I heard.

This game apparently ties the stories of those two games together into one massive triology, or so I heard. |
The three games all take place in the same world and timeline, but happen at different times. I'll be interested to see how this somehow relates to the first two games if any.
The Steins;Gate sequel on the PC is the only one to have a crossover where the main character from Chaos;Head makes an appearance.

That's because Steins;Gate takes place 1 year after the events of Chaos;Head. Robotic;Notes is said to take place 10 years after the events of Chaos;Head (and thus 9 after Steins;Gate) in Tanegashima instead of Akihabara
