Easily one of the biggest announcements of AX, alongside Sword of Paros! Was not expecting Inklore to be getting Ikoku Nikki, but I'll take it!
I do hope cover typesetting has improved, some of theirs take up the entire cover, making the art hard to see. |

On one hand: HELL YEAH IKOKU NIKKI MANGA LET'S GOOOOOOOOO YAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!! Buying it day one!
On the other hand: Isn't this the same company that put out My Love Story With Yamada-Kun At Level 999 and had a ton of issues with stuff like lettering, leaving out color pages, and copy-pasting Mangamo's translation? Ikoku Nikki deserves a high quality release, and this news does leave me doubtful that Inklore can deliver. But hey, maybe they learned from their experiences and will deliver. Who knows? I'll keep my expectations tempered, but they better not screw this up. |

Very excited to see this picked up, but wish it was almost anyone but Inklore. I can only hope they put more care into this release than they did with Yamada-kun.

I've heard all their post-Yamada titles, while not manga, have been pretty good quality, and the translator attached to the project has done a lot of great work for titles like Wotakoi, Shoot Juliet Down, and Sheltering Eaves. So at the very least we know the translation will be good, though I'm nervous about an iffy cover design a la Yamada-kun. |

Journal With Witch was one of my favorite anime of the year so far, so I'm very happy the manga is getting released now too so we can read the rest of the story.
