Wow, that was incredibly impressive. We had a lot of beautiful animation in Season 1, but there was nothing that really wowed me, animation-wise, until this one. Didn't make the earlier ones bad so to speak, as what little budget they had, they were able to crank a lot out of them, and some were interesting to think about, but this was the first of this season to have something really different visually.
I was looking forward to this one looking at the Season 2 preview, and I have to say I love how far stop-motion has come, even traditional stuff. Also, this looks like something that'd be in Sesame Street if it was Japanese, or was teaching Japanese. |
