As much as I respect Funimation, they produce horrible Lupin dubs. I worry how they will treat First Contact when they get it. I wish Geneon would get that one at least; their voice cast for Lupin fits the characters perfectly.

Being use to the Lupin TV series, i have to say i really do like the voices of Lupin and Jigen. but i'm really suprised at the artwork on this movie. it looks so action and dramaticizes. so different from the simple and fun animation of the show, and the secret of Mamo. and fujiko got a serious haircut.

FUNimation doesn't have First Contact. They only have the specials up until 2000. Oh, and the site's always been there. They just re-modelled it.

I know they don't have it; note the words "when they get it". They have the rights to 10 of the movies and specials, so there's no reason to think they won't get First Contact.

what are you smoking the Geneon cast is horrid. Tony Olivar (The voice of Rick Hunter in Robotech) doesn't fit Lupin the 3rd, he sounds like he's from Broklyn, the closest one to a decent VA from Geneon is Lex Langs Goemon.

You're one of the only few people who thinks that. Most fans seem to agree that Geneon's cast is great and suits the characters well. I don't like dubs but I agree with that.
By the way, what to do you think about the voice actress who does the voice of Fujiko?

Really? Rick Hunter, you say. hat's interesting. I need to pay more attention to these things.

Personally, I like Genon's dub of Lupin III; Lupin sounds ratty and weaslly but still kinda lovable, much like Yamada Yasuo. The rest of the cast I can live with, but Jigen and Goemon give the series a little bit of a different feel over their Japanese counterparts. I thought Fujiko's voice was nice, though.
