Nekopara OVA Gets Theatrical Screenings in Japan on January 1

Neko Works' official Twitter account announced on Friday that it will screen the NEKOPARA OVA three times at the Akihabara UDX Theater in Tokyo on January 1. The Comic Market (Comket) 93 catalog will reveal more information about the screening soon.
Neko Works announced on November 20 that the OVA was finished. The Kickstarter campaign for the OVA revealed on Monday that the physical goods for backers will start shipping on December 26, with overseas shipments going out at the beginning of next year. Steam digital keys to stream the anime will also go out on December 26.
Sekai Project hosted a Kickstarter campaign to create the OVA based on Neko Works and Sayori's NEKOPARA adult visual novel in January. The campaign ended in March after a "Slacker Backer" campaign with a total of US$1,049,552 raised.
Sekai Project released the Nekopara Vol. 1 visual novel on PC via Steam in December 2014. The company also released the Nekopara Vol. 0 fandisc prequel on PC in August 2015, and the Nekopara Vol. 2 game in February 2016. Sekai Project also released the first game in an uncensored adult version. Neko Works released Nekopara Vol. 3 in Japan on May 26, and Sekai Project released the game on Steam in English the same day.
