Blue Gender 26: Let Me
1) Scene of Yuji shoving his rifle down the super-Blue's throat and blasting away shortened to remove scenes of super-Blue's head coming apart.
2) Shot of Miyagi being shredded by gunfire from rebelling Second Earthers cut.
Thus ends CN's inaugural run of Blue Gender. Quite a leap given the content of this show over previous Adult Swim offerings. This run also demonstrates a major failing of CN's policy of allowing the distributing companies to do their editing. The editing of Blue Gender was a lot more stringent than it has been for Cowboy Bebop or even Inuyasha and IMESHO unnecessarily so. FUNimation got away with more in Dragon Ball Z and that's running on Toonami. I hope FUNimation will learn from the experience and ease up on the scissors with their next offering to Adult Swim. Other than that it was a good job.
