The change of Momiji Kanō's voice actress from Saeko Chiba to Sayaka Ohara is not the only voice change from the original Zettai Karen Children anime. The young Kyōsuke Hyōbu's voice changed from Marina Inoue to Aya Hirano, and Saotome's voice also changed from Gô Shinomiya to Katsuji Mori.

Momiji's spin-off voice actress Sayaka Ohara actually did appear in the original Zettai Karen Children anime. She appeared as Minamoto's mother.

In episode 1, the strap figurine of himself Hyoubu offers as a bonus to enter P.A.N.D.R.A. is an actual strap that was included with the limited edition volume 28 of the manga. It was later re-bundled with the spin-off's official fan book.

In episode 2, the song that plays near the end of the episode is the intro to the song "Break Your Destiny", which is the third ending theme to the Zettai Karen Children anime. This song is sung by the Karen Guys (Minamoto, Hyoubu, Sakaki), and Minamoto and Hyoubu sing for control of main character Kaoru's fate, whether she is to become an angel or a devil.

In episode 2, Patty Crew, who is silently tending the bar despite being in her mid-teens, is wearing the same clothes that she wore for her appearance on the jacket of volume 30 of the Zettai Karen Children manga.

In episode 4, the song Kaoru quietly sings to herself is "Over the Future", the first opening theme to the original Zettai Karen Children anime. It was originally performed by the unit Karen Girls, who disbanded in 2009.

In episode 5, in the background of the Children's classroom, you can see Chisato and Yuuri in their middle school forms.

In episode 5, characters who look like Internet reviewers the Nostalgia Critic and the Angry Video Game Nerd appear in the background.

In episode 6, the book Andy is reading to Yuugiri is Peter Pan.

In episode 8, the ending theme "ADVENT" by Koji Yusa is used. This was originally released in 2009 on the UNLIMITED∞ drama and variety album for Zettai Karen Children. It was re-released on the DARKNESS NIGHT|BRIGHTEST LIGHT album in 2013.
