Befriending him, she takes him on a boating trip. Tora loves the seaside too, until he meets an ancient sea spirit who asks for his help in fighting a huge, deadly monster formed from the souls of those who have died at sea... This time Ushio and the Spear of Beasts face their sternest test yet, as they must rescue not just Asako and Tatsuya, but Tora as well. Only teamwork has any chance of defeating this terrible foe. The animation is nicely handled and the danger which lurks below the surface of the most beautiful scenes is well conveyed.
