X Japan's Yoshiki to Give Quake Anniversary Message in L.A.

YOSHIKI, co-founder of the rock band X Japan, will appear at a Los Angeles event on Saturday to give a message of gratitude on behalf of Japan on the first anniversary of the Great East Japan Earthquake (Higashi Nihon Daishinsai) disaster.

The Consulate-General of Japan in Los Angeles and Japan Business Association of Southern California are hosting the "Japan. Endless Discovery." event at The Grove in L.A. complex from noon to 8:00 p.m. The event celebrates "Japanese cutting edge technology, delicious and healthy food, charming characters, traditional culture, and trending fashion and pop culture."

YOSHIKI will give his "Arigato from Japan" message at the event at 7:30 p.m. There will also be a "Meet Hello Kitty" event and other cultural attractions.
