ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION is celebrating their 30th anniversary this year and preparing for their commemorative concert, 30th Anniversary Special Concert “Thirty Revolutions”, taking place on Saturday, April 4 and Sunday, April 5 in Tokyo. Their brand-new track “Skins”, the opening theme for the final season Part 3 of the TV anime Dr. STONE SCIENCE FUTURE, which began airing on April 2 (Thu), is now available across digital platforms as of April 3 local midnight! The music video has also been premiered on the band's official YouTube channel.

“Skins” will be available digitally worldwide on April 3rd local midnight. The track features a light, driving rhythm and an irresistible groove that makes you want to move. In the music video, viewers are taken into a tense, silent ruin where time has stopped, depicting people “petrified” — a core motif of Dr. Stone. ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION's sound breaks through the stillness, culminating in a celebratory finale that honors the band's anniversary year. Be sure to check it out. The newly opened 30th anniversary special website features a brand-new artist photo on the top page, along with messages from the band members as they enter their anniversary year. The 30th anniversary live concert 30th Anniversary Special Concert “Thirty Revolutions” will finally take place at Ariake Arena on April 4 (Sat) and 5 (Sun). In a world overflowing with more entertainment than anyone could ever experience in a lifetime, extending far beyond music or bands, I want to sincerely thank you for being here with ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION at this moment, our 30th anniversary, even if you can't be physically present.

Thirty years ago, and even for several years after that, our music barely reached anyone's ears. Knowing that there are people who now look forward to our music is an indescribable source of strength.

Even so, with every song we write, we try to meet someone new from scratch. And moving forward, I hope we can continue to meet you again and again, as equals, each time with a fresh mindset.

There were several moments where it felt like the band might stop, but we managed to continue for thirty years.

I don't feel dramatically different compared to our 25th anniversary, but there's one thing I can say with certainty: I'm having even more fun now than I was back then!

We'll keep making music while feeling grateful to everyone who has helped create this long story with us.

ABOUT ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION
A four-piece band formed in 1996. ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION first released ”Destructive Amplifier” in 2002 and made their major debut a year later with the same title.

In 2003, the band had launched NANO-MUGEN Fes. and annually expanded their project scales.

The band had invited oversea artists like WEEZER, MANIC STREET PREACHERS etc. to introduce their fan the wide range of genre.
The year 2021 is 25 years since banding and will be 20 years since the major debut in April of 2023.

Gotoh 's realistic frustration, even despair sublimates into a driving force overwhelming emotion and momentum, they have continued to lead the music scene with their "Japanese sounding rock” and have gained tremendous support across generations.
