Snow Miku Revealed for Sapporo Snow Festival 2013

Hourly light-and-music show with colored lights planned; Teto & Yufu join Miku

The official Twitter account for Crypton Future Media's Vocaloid efforts posted photographs of the completed Snow Miku snow sculpture at this year's Sapporo Snow Festival.

This year, the sculpture will be lit up by colored lights:

Once an hour, a light show will play with Hatsune Miku music.

The festival built a Snow Miku sculpture last year, but it collapsed last February and sent a 61-year-old women to the hospital with a back injury. Due to the warming weather, the organizers brought back the sculptures with a backing snow wall to help maintain its structure.
