Chihayafuru Star Streams Live from Sequel Film's Set

Actress Suzu Hirose (The Boy and the Beast's Kaede; Fireworks, Should We See it from the Side or the Bottom?'s Nazuna) will stream live from the set of the live-action Chihayafuru: Musubi (Chihayafuru: Conclusion) sequel film on Thursday starting at 12:00 p.m. Hirose will use her official LINE messaging app account to stream the "Hirose Suzu Channel Vol. 14 Chihayafuru Special" through the LINE LIVE service.
The program will reveal the current situation on set, and some of her fellow actors will appear. The film's official LINE account will also stream live from the set beginning at 12:00 p.m. The special project will give away presents.
The sequel film will open in Japan in 2018. The first film, Chihayafuru: Kami no Ku (Chihayafuru: Upper Phrase), opened in Japan in March 2016. The second film, Chihayafuru: Shimo no Ku (Chihayafuru: Lower Phrase), opened in Japan in April 2016. The staff announced the sequel film on the same day the second film opened in Japan.
Hopefully Hirose will earn some positive PR from her live stream. After a gaffe belittling her staff on a variety show in 2015, she became the most disliked female celebrity among Japanese women in their 20s.
