Top Selling Manga

posted on by Christopher Macdonald
According to Nielson Bookscan, for the week ending October 16, Fullmetal Alchemist volume 3 was the top selling graphic novel in North America, followed by the latest volume of Rurouni Kenshin and Tokyopop's Kingdom Hearts manga.

Buoyed by its TV run, All seven volumes of Naruto printed to date figured in the top 20, which was entirely comprised of manga.

Viz's recently launched Death Note came in 4th place.

USA today's list for the same week however did not contain Fullmetal Alchemist or Rurouni Kenshin, only Kingdom Hearts, which premiered at 95th position that week. Fullmetal Alchemist #3 did place in USA Today's list the previous 2 weeks, peaking in 88th position.

Kingdom Hearts fell to 115th position in the USA Today's top 150 best sellers for the week ending October 23. Again this week it was the only manga on the list.
