Crayon Shin-chan Director Hara to Helm Keisuke Kinoshita Bio

Director Keiichi Hara (Crayon Shin-chan films, Colorful) will begin shooting his first live-action film Hajimari no Michi next month. The film, which Hara also wrote, is a biographical film about Japanese filmmaker Keisuke Kinoshita in celebration of what would have been the late director's 100th birthday.
Kinoshita created many critically acclaimed films in his 23-year career including Carmen Comes Home (Karumen Kokyo ni Kaeru), Japan's first color motion picture.
Hajimari no Michi is slated to open early next summer.
