Bandai Namco starts service for game in Japan on February 18

Bandai Namco Games began streaming the opening video for its upcoming Tekken 7 arcade game on Tuesday.

Heihachi: Let's settle the score. I'll end you here.
Kazumi: I must stop Heihachi. Even if I am swallowed up by this power and lose my life.

Previously-announced characters include Lucky Chloe, Claudio, Katarina and Shaheen. Harada wrote on his Twitter account that Lucky Chloe will only be available in the European and Japanese versions of the game, although he later clarified that this statement was sarcasm.

Tekken 7 will utilize the Unreal Engine 4, and the new "Power Crash" and "Rage Arts" game systems. "Power Crash" will allow a counter attack in the middle of an opponent's attack. "Rage Arts" is a special power crash that can be invoked while in rage mode.

The arcade version ran a location test in early October began its second round of location testing on November 22 and 23 in select locations in Japan. The game is scheduled for release on February 18.

Update: Clarification on Lucky Chloe made. Thanks, Spoofer.
