Gempak Starz Licenses Akira Hagio's Putera Gembira Manga

posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda
Manga about aloof girl and sweet prince launched in 2013

Malaysian publisher Gempak Starz revealed on Monday that it has licensed Akira Hagio's Kōfuku no Ōji-sama, and will release it with the title Putera Gembira.

Gempak Stars describes the manga:

Riko lives alone. She never knew her father, and her mother has passed away. She deliberately makes no friends, and whiles away her time either studying or at her part-time job. Until one day, a blonde-haired, blue-eyed prince appears before her. Thus begins the love story of a cool beauty and a sweet prince.

Hagio launched the manga in Hakusensha's LaLa magazine in July 2013, and ended it in December. Hakusensha published the manga's one compiled book volume in January 2014.
