Neofilms Streams Chinese-Dubbed Trailer for 4th Pripara Film

Film opens in Hong Kong on July 20

Hong Kong film distributor Neofilms began streaming a Chinese-dubbed and subtitled trailer on Thursday for its screening of Gekijōban PriPara: Mi~nna de Kagayake! Kirarin Star Live (PriPara The Movie: Everyone Shine! Kirarin Star Live), the fourth PriPara anime film. The film opens in Hong Kong on July 20.

The film premiered in Japan on March 4.

The anime film takes place not in space (uchū), but in "Puchū," and features the first "Puchū tour" in PriPara history. The PriPara idols tour the solar system and discover new wonders. Various trials await the idols, and things aren't straight forward. Will the idols be able to make it back to Earth safely? The fictional idol groups that appear in the film include SoLaMi SMILE, DressingPafé, TRiANGLE, Gaarmageddon, and Tricolore.

The first anime series inspired by syn Sophia's PriPara arcade game for girls premiered in July 2014. The franchise's first film, Gekijō-ban PriPara Mi~nna Atsumare! Prism Tours, premiered in March 2015, and the second TV anime season premiered in April 2015. The second anime film, Tobidasu PriPara ~Miina de Mezase! Idol Grand Prix (Spring Out PriPara ~Aim for the Top, Eeeeveryone! Idol Grand Prix), premiered in Japan in October 2015. The anime's third film, PriPara Mi~nna no Akogare Let's Go PriPari (PriPara Eeeeveryone's Longing Let's Go PriPari), premiered in March 2016, and the third television anime season followed in April 2016.

Idol Time PriPara, the newest television anime series in the franchise, premiered on April 4. Additionally, the franchise has inspired two musicals. The second musical ran for eight performances at the Zepp Blue Theatre Roppongi in Tokyo from January 26-29. The first musical ran in February 2016.
