Gakuen Densetsu - Hasami Onna horror manga also licensed, slated for October 11

Indonesian publisher Elex Media Komputindo announced on Thursday that it has licensed Yuni Yukimura's Hanazono to Egoist (Flower Garden Egoist), Hana Umeno's Gakuen Densetsu - Hasami Onna (Academy Legend - Scissors Woman), and Pedoro Toriumi's Amai Akuma ga Warau (The Sweet Devil Smiles) manga. The first volumes of Hanazono to Egoist and Amai Akuma ga Warau, and the one volume of Gakuen Densetsu - Hasami Onna, are all slated for release on October 11.

Hanazono to Egoist centers on realist Miu, who meets a man in the school's greenhouse who calls himself the spirit of the rose. Soon enough, Miu encounters more flower spirits, including the sunflower, the lily of the valley, and the chrysanthemum, who make her school life more interesting.

Yukimura launched the manga in Kadokawa's Sylph magazine in 2013, and ended it in 2014. Kadokawa published two compiled book volumes for the manga.

Gakuen Densetsu - Hasami Onna collects four one-shot horror manga that Umeno published in Kodansha's Bessatsu Friend magazine in 2011 and 2012. The title story centers on three friends who decide to enter an abandoned house supposedly haunted by the "scissors woman," who kills girls with beautiful hair. The "Tonari no Yomi-san" story centers on an urban legend about Yomi-san, a girl who supposedly killed herself due to her ugliness, and whose spirit wanders around stealing body parts from beautiful girls. The "Kurayami Chii-chan" story centers on Tomohiro, who as a child used to play with a girl he only knew as Chii-chan, and whose face was always obscured by hair. When they meet again as teenagers, he will find out the truth about her. The "Tomodachi" story centers on Shiori, who buys strange pets to keep as company.

Kadokawa published the book in August 2012.

Amai Akuma ga Warau centers on Haruru, the daughter of a wealthy family who attends a prestigious girls school, right across the street from a similarly prestigious boys school. One day, she sees a boy looking at her from a window in the boys school. When she comes home later that day, she finds out that the boy, Isshin, has just been hired as her personal butler. Isshin has apparently had a crush on Haruru for a long time. Now, Isshin will teach Haruru all about fashion, makeup, and manners.

Toriumi launched the manga in Kodansha's Nakayoshi magazine in 2010, and ended it in 2012. Kodansha published six compiled book volumes for the manga.
