Ghost in the Shell: SAC Standard Editions Will Be Released August 6

Manga Entertainment has announced on its website that it will release standard DVD and Blu-ray editions of Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex on August 6.
Both the Blu-ray and DVD editions will contain the two 26-episode seasons of the TV series, directed by Kenji Kamiyama and animated by Production I.G Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex uses the world and characters created by Masamune Shirow in the original Ghost in the Shell manga, relating the exploits of the Section 9 police team and its cyborg leader Motoko Kusanagi.
According to Manga's announcement, 'Both formats will house episodes 1-52 across two cases, collected in a double-walled cardboard slipcase. Extras include interviews and trailers. This edition includes our new and improved subtitles.'
