MediaLink Announces Con-Con Hong Kong Convention

Medialink Entertainment announced on Monday that it is launching a new convention in Hong Kong named Con-Con (short for "Convention for Connection") Hong Kong. The convention will take place at the AsiaWorld Expo on April 4 and 5.
MediaLink bills the convention as promoting local, Asian, and international intellectual properties and cross-cultural dialogue, and will involve elements typical of anime conventions, music festivals, and brand exhibitions. The convention will host Japanese franchises, IPs and creators that originate from Hong Kong, industry panels, press conferences and product launches, merchandise sales, and musical performances from both Japanese and Hong Kong artists.
The convention will also feature a black box theatre where exhibitors can host unique experiences.
MediaLink's Ani-One Asia brand licenses both television anime and anime films. Ani-One Asia streams anime in various territories in Southeast Asia through its multiple YouTube channels featuring different languages, and also distributes theatrical anime through various regional theatrical distributors. MediaLink also distributes its season television anime titles through other third-party services, including Crunchyroll, bilibili, iQIYI, and more.
