Mangagamer and Overdrive Announce Go Go Japan

Mangagamer and Overdrive Announce Go Go Japan

March 5th, 2011 - We at MangaGamer are proud to announce Go Go Japan, a visual novel-cum-guidebook for first time visitors to the land of the rising sun.

An all-ages title featuring artwork from Fujimaru, Go Go Japan follows you, a university student from abroad, on a one week trip and home-stay in Japan, taking you on a tour of key sites in Tokyo and beyond with a pair of cute sisters as your guides. In addition to just showing you the sites, Go Go Japan also covers such key points as the Japanese rail network, food, and everyone's favorite question, how to find a public toilet and avoid the bidet button. Featuring input from both Japanese and Western staff to ensure accuracy in presentation, Go Go Japan is a great way to prepare for a trip to Tokyo or just have a holiday in your living room.

Currently being developed by OVERDRIVE, the maker of Kira Kira, Edelweiss, and DEARDROPS, Go Go Japan also marks history as the first visual novel developed by Japanese game developers specifically for a western audience.

Details on format and exact pricing are TBD.
