Eyeshield 21 v.2-3 from amazon marketplace. I couldn't find these 2 volumes on TRSI or justmanga, but managed to find them on amazon. I guess it's going out of print? Glad I'm found them when I did.

Ami Ami.

Oh, thanks. That LE with DVD/BD and 2 figures sounds interesting, but god knows how much shipping that would cost. I'll check it tomorrow.

I decided to get something through the Funimation Sale on TRSI:

Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom Limited Edition

I have been waiting for this series to be released. I seen the first episode a while back and really enjoyed it.

Stupid sale, now I just HAD to make the order on some items I've been contemplating on getting for a couple weeks now!

Black Butler vol 1 LE and 2 (preorder)

Kaleido Star vol 1 and 2

Both blind buys, but I don't think I'll be dissapointed, they both seem like my type of shows (I'm not into acrobats, but I LOVE the artwork, and the same director did do Sailor Moon... Maybe I should check out Princess Tutu next :p)

My poor poor wallet... I still have my old Rightstuf order that hasn't been sent out yet, AND my several game preorders in the next couple months, INCLUDING the 3DS (poor poor Visa v_v... I promise I'll pay you back!!)

It's awesome for the price. The figures are cute.

Shipping was like 700 yen SAL for me but we live in different countries. I hope its cheap for you too.

Placed a small order at TSRI:

Eden of the East: King of Eden DVD/Blu-ray
Evangelion 2.22 BD
Summer Wars BD
Soul Eater BD part 1 + 2
Rideback DVD LE
Toradora! part 2 (dunno why I waited so long on this...)
Wagnaria!!

Finally signed up for a Got Anime membership. Should knock the price down to $220 I'm guessing...

TSRI should really offer that Eden T shirt RACS has with the combo. I already have so many keychains. Rideback is coming with one too Sad

Aw, right my TRSI with Sacred Blacksmith came in! The promo towel is every bit as dubiously made as has been claimed here earlier. I get the impression that if I (foolishly) ever tried to use it as a towel, the colour would all rinse off, leaving me with a small, flimsy, white hand towel. And very sad.

The promo T-shirt that came with my Genshiken 2 boxset ain't much sturdier, but it does fit.

Anyway, off to check out these ero-games!

Pre-ordered Summer Wars on DVD via Rightstuf and also bought Le Chevalier D'Eon and a box set containing both seasons of Kaleido Star via Amazon.

I actually thought that most promo t's would be that way...and man was I suprised when I got in the one's with the GitS SAC special edition discs! Especially the white one with the laughing man symbol on the back, I think it might be one of the thickest quality t-shirts I have.

That Genshiken 2 shirt is pure GENIUS. I love wearing that one in public. "Ah! You got one of those Dunkin' Donut....uh what??"

The Laughing Man shirt is awesome as well. I don't personally own it, but a friend of mine has been rocking it for years.

You know how we have this weird thing going where our tastes appear to line up point for point? Well, I really enjoyed Sacred Blacksmith during its broadcast run, so in a sense you no longer need to consider it a blind buy. Wink I'll keep my fingers crossed for you re: the titty towel 'coz God knows you can't have mine.

Well now I know I'll like it. I'm glad my first blind buy has turned out well and I haven't even received the package yet. I'm not sure I'd want your towel unless I had video evidence that it had been washed 4 times Razz

You won't get a towel since they sold a couple weeks ago. However, the picture used on the towel is in the art book. If you had watched the video I put in Packaging Questions Thread, you'd know this Evil or Very Mad

I haven't checked out the Packaging Questions Thread in a long time. I thought it was all about how the packaging was for the various online anime retailers? You did get your revenge on me though for not watching your video by ruining my life and destroying all hopes of a towel.

Well, damn you if I get into figures because you didn't give me a direct link!
If you don't know what love at first sight means, that's just because you've yet to meet this beauty...
I'll be getting the green eyed too (which costs like twice as much at TRSI?)... but the blue one is sold out. When these things run out, do they normally come back or...?

Also, an alternative site? I'd hate to be stuck with a single seller... I remember there are others, but to try to remember this stuff is like to try to hold water in my hands.

Found another, and tried ordering the blue eyed one. The shipping is a stab in the pancreas even though I ticked the cheaper method. About 37k yen. I checked their shipping fees, and Europe costs about the same as North America.
Total came down to £63. Which isn't that bad as long as it gets by customs. I tried amazon, too, but it seems like they refuse to ship figures over here... wonder if it has anything to do with the recent bill about virtual child abuse.

Man, can't wait to place the 3 of them together. Guess that's a motivation to clear up my desk that could display at least 15 of those and about 100 of the smaller ones if all the mess weren't here.
Kyaa, feels like I've gone back to kindergarten.

Needed a couple things for free shipping on Amazon:

Dragon Drive vol 2 (no longer listed on Rightstuf!)
Black Butler vol 1 (I am one of those people that still make vol 1 reach the top 10 :p)

Whoa, I can't believe it - my package from HobbyLink Japan arrived today! I only received the shipping notice on Jan. 18 and a mere six days later it is here all the way from Japan. Even my shipments from TRSI don't usually get here that fast!

Even better: I was only charged 5% HST on the package instead of the usual 13%. Not sure why, but I ain't complaining since that saves me about $20 Cdn. And my big question was answered: there is no special or extra duty or tax for items coming from Japan (at least for figures at the price I paid).

Anyway, this is the package with Rei and her entry plug (I'll just let the innuendo hang there on that one); a scantily-clad Ryomou Shimei (Ikki Tousen) sitting prettily on a sofa as she wisely takes off her sweater; some hot babe with an assault rifle (?) known as Battle Girl Mil-Alpha; and a Yotsuba Revoltech.

The only drag thing is that I'm at work now so I can't even open the box for fear of my colleagues seeing the fruits of my shameful hobby...
