Always thought about it. Two differents groups? Has anyone ever wondered who would win? I think vizards but nothing can be proved. Though Kariya is quite powerful. You see I skipped Bleach Season 4: The Bount and went on to season 5: The Assault. It took me about three days to watch part one of season 4, and I really like it, surpisingly enough. It really is some sort of spin-off filler though. Please post to post fights. IO wanna see Shinji vs. Sawatari. How 'bout it?

never been made + pretty sure most people aren't interested, but be rude to ignore:

Vizards only because they were all captain lvl, hollow transformation, appeared in a later arc which normally indicates strength. Forgot about much of Bount arc, but I believe compared to the Vizards, they have too many limitations that one could exploit. As from my understanding, they were imperfect experiments.

Yeah, thats right....though it was just a thought, I believe Jin was the only bount with any significant power, and the Vizards weren't really the type to attack anybody aimlessly. And as of now all the Bounts are pretty much gone.

Did the bount arc really exist in that timeline? Even Bleach itself seems to ignore its existence.

Either way, both groups were useless by the end of the day. If anything, they were more like struggling victims.

Well, the bount arc is actually kinda a spin off. The manga goes straight from Ichigo saving Rukia to the Arrancar arriving. In a way, there is a flow, but the Bount Arc does not effect the Original story. In the anime it goes from Rukia being saved to Lirin, Nova, and Kuroro Arriving. You can guess what happens next.

Bleach is a lot like the DC Justice League, where you have all these super-heros together that politely pretend that Superman couldn't just do everything by himself.

So you have hapless Ichigo and friends routinely getting their skulls crushed (does Ichigo ever win a fight where he isn't bleeding from the scalp?) from the current threat-of-the-week. At any time any of the Court Guard Captains (or former captains) could show up and end the whole thing with a flick of the wrist. That actually happens about once every 100 episodes or so.

Worst of all Kenpachi is always sitting around brooding because he can't find an opponent strong enough to scratch him while he stands there, much less fight him.

Instead you end up with multi-episode battles with Ichigo getting pulverized until the very end. And we have to pretend the Soul Society is going to end unless he wins.

Probably not. But if they continue it, there's going to be a LOT of filler before it returns to the main storyline. Right now, the anime is only a few weeks behind the manga.... I think 5 chapters, IIRC.

310 isn't the end. It seems there'll be a filler arc starting at 312 featuring a new captain, and then it'll be back on the main story.
What annoys me is that at first they were like "He'll lose his powers". But now they're like "Maybe tomorrow, next week, or next year, even I don't know". See the dragging potential roaming around? He'll lose his powers when the franchise loses its monetary gain, pretty much. That or they'll just summon Shenlong.

Either way, I'll just quote this CR comment:
Quote:
Well, I hope he loses his virginity before he loses his powers.
