I didn't expect it to be on the noitaminA block of all things.

The theme song should totally be set to the tune of Foreigner's "Juke Box Hero".
I still don't really understand this franchise.

Yamakan claims he's not involved, but Ordet is, which also happens to be the same studio he founded after leaving KyoAni and played some role in most of the projects he was affiliated with...I find it difficult to believe that he has absolutely no role in the project. He must be involved in some part but probably not a major player.
Either way, Noitamina slot is definitely a plus so long as it doesn't pull the same crap that Fractale did, which was also produced by Yamakan.

The last part.
Anyway, despite already loving BRS' character design(ala my avatar), I've actually never even seen a lick of this damn thing. I'll get the OVA BD eventually, though, and if I end up digging that, then hell--hope the series is good.
If I don't, though, won't matter to me either way.

I want this in the US.
Also the OVAs. Perhaps the TV series would work as a bridge for some localization company to also bring the OVAs over? One can dream .

But if it weren't for that "last part" BRS would be nothing in Nowhere.

The OVA doesn't actually have any Miku music in it, though. I mean, Ryo (the one person in supercell who isn't an artist) did compose the music, but even the ending theme isn't sung by Miku (and isn't even "Black Rock Shooter").

YUS! !
I am really happy to hear this news!
I actually really liked the OVA. I mean, the story was pretty good imo (though I certainly hope a series' plot would be relatively better...) and I really liked the designs a what not so, yeah, realllllly excited for this!
I so hope we get to see more 'other selves' (and also the ones from the OVA obviously) but... wth is with the glasses on DM?
Can't say i'm too into them
I hope they atleast somewhat keep the original designs...
And I wonder if they'll possibly have that one new 'self' chick, uh, the white and pink one from the games... in this somewhere.
The games.... dunno how I'd feel if a plot was based on them ...

Do want to watch this! I loved the OVA and have been wondering if they would make more sometime. I really really hope Crunchyroll or someone else picks it up for streaming.

I don't think there is any direct confirmation that Ordet is involved with this new TV series.

Isn't that kind of the intention?
I'll give it a try at least. Hoping that the BRS has more presence and importance in this than she did in the OVA.

Really?
I'm getting worried about noitaminA. It seems like these days one of their shows is largely the usual otaku bait every season. I guess if that's what you gotta do to pay the bills. I just can't help but worry that at some point they're gonna get sick of losing money on the other show and just start gearing their whole block toward otaku and at that point I doubt they'll be any different than the rest of the industry.
