I see that Manga Ent. has said that REDLINE is coming out in the UK in November. Has anyone heard of an American release date yet?

They have made no announcement about a U.S. release date yet.

Have they stated if the blu-ray release in the UK is going to be region locked yet? I know madman has got the distribution rights in Australia already but I can't wait 6 months. I NEEEEEED that blu-ray on my home theatre ASAP.

@damien007, Get the Japanese release if you want it ASAP...
It's the best anime Blu-Ray experience I've had - incredible HD audio track with beyond incredible visual presentation.

Yes Japanese release of Redline has English subtitles (they are okay, Manga release may be better quality...) and it is region free (I checked that it played in Region A, B, and C mode of my Blu-Ray player). CD Japan, Yes Asia, and Amazon Japan are probably 3 of the most popular sites for importing Japanese releases.

Personally I look foward to getting this movie, I've heard nothing but good things about it. I would love to import the U.K. release, but I'll probably end up waiting till 2012 when its released here in the states.
But yeah, glad the movie is getting an English release, sad it didn't get more love.
Poor Madhouse, they make such great shows, but hardly ever get the props they deserve it seems.

I will say that I hope the delays for the English dub releases are because they are trying to get it perfect. Because, more than any other anime, this dub has to be perfect on this or it will not work well - the humor and character feel come from the subtleties in tone, inflection, and timing of the voices... if it's off, it will lose that special charm that is Redline.
