I heard that someone said something about their information on CM show and DM movie.
"From what we know. Japanese people aka a Japanese animation studio. Probably the usual one for DM and GX or what ever aka Studio Gallop. Did the animating for the movie and Capsule Monsters probably. Difference is that the "Pyramid of Light" movie and "ALEX" are commissioned by 4Kids. Meaning they probably payed for the animating. Thats why they were allowed to premier it first. AND also probably why these had not good animation quality, good is even pushing it for Capsule Monsters. After all good animation needs money and as we know 4Kids are loosing money for some years now. But since 4Kids are well, 4Kids they still have cut out some video footage. Of course since they probably payed for it, the Japanese studio gave them a version and materials to add cards with English text and all these extra details that are different when you compare it to the official Japanese version of the movie or the TV series. And still even if it was a movie 4Kids STILL removed some scenes, because they didn't fit in the plot/script they gave studio to work with. Never the less the Japanese still did for that a lot of a better job and with no cuts at all. BUT with the Japanese version of the cards. Well mostly thanks to the rewritten script original Voice Actors and Background Music. BUT "ALEX" didn't had that luck until now. Meaning for the Japanese Studio and NAS to show any interest in that "anime". Not to mention the plot was again from 4Kids again and was even more unappealing for the Japanese fans which grew up with the original of "Duel Monsters". Well the bad animation style also helped NAS to not be interested in "ALEX". Since I'm sure they could have rewritten the script of the entire "ALEX". The only thing they actually have to do for "ALEX" is just a Japanese audio with their Voice Actors and the original Background Music. Meaning no card editing and such video stuff so the animators from the studio won't be needed. And there is still footage which again is cut by 4Kids. Meaning footage that was not even in the TV version of Capsule Monsters or in its American DVDs. But it exists in the master video version of "ALEX" which waits to get a Japanese dubbing."
