Why are they re-releasing the Escaflowne movie if it was already included in the limited edition boxset that a few of us got? Most likely people already have the movie.

Oh, and the page for that movie on this website is using an image from Jin-Roh.

--EDIT--
Maybe it is reasonable to think that people are going to buy this special edition release of the movie if it contains 3 discs for $19.98 (The 3rd disc is a soundtrack CD)

I'm assuming that Panda Z will be 2 volume long with about 75-80 min a piece.

It's good that Cowboy Bebop now has a release date, but I won't be buying it if it doesn't include an Artbox.

Personally, they should release 'Panda-Z' as a 2 disc set and call it a day. Considering that the show is very short. Well, that's if all 30 episodes can fit a certain number of discs. But knowing them they will stretch it out. 'Asagiri no Miko' was 10 min a shot and they were able to stretch that out. Well, then there is the Japanese that can really STRETCH it out! Laughing

Side note: Y'know it's been years since you seen anything that was a large series released in a short number of volumes. 'Lodoss Wars: Chronicles...' was compiled short. But 'Outlaw Star' I think takes the prize, 26 episodes 3 vol. 2-discs each.

I'm also glad that they are re-releasing 'Cowboy Bebop'. Now I can request them for our library collection since we didn't get the chance to purchase them last time. Very Happy

It sure would be nice if the soundtracks were included in this release. It would fit in perfectly with the whole "remix" theme. Oh well. At least I'll have the commentaries to keep me busy.

Bandai have been re-releasing the Escaflowne TV series, so it makes sense to put a new set of the movie on the market beside the re-releases. Personally I'm hoping for a new boxset that's not "limited".

Is the first DVD being released with the option of buying an art box? I'm hoping for a cool box, since Eva Platinum "Remix" had a totally sweet box.

I've heard that the some of the regular European CB dvds have some songs as an extra on the DVD itself.

But, yeah I would prefer a separate cd...

really.. that's not cool if the retail is going to be 14.95. There better be some cool extras or something.

Well, there hasn't been any mention of an art box in the Bandai retail newsletter, or the june issue of Newtype (cover story is Cowboy Bebop Remix). I'm hoping they will but doubtful right now. Sad
