(Though this could end up as the same fate as the Da Capo license, please read.)
I recently contacted Rodney Alan Greenblat in question what's going on with him and PaRappa, including the animation. I'll have to say this, the anime, probably isn't the greatest thing, however, hear me out. Rodney Alan Greenblat, said starting (I think this month), all rights to the franchies will go to him and his compony. The only thing I know he won't have control over, and he has stated, is the PaRappa animation, due to Sony not not wanting to focus on it themselves. (He said if Sony did more envolvement, it would of been better) Anyways, Rodney stated he will be trying to go after PRoduction IG on trying to license the animation later this year. (Or around now). Whether that means we'll get a release in 2006, or not, is sitll speculation. I'll post sources for this later, sense I have to edit the email to remove some personal information. (and such). But anyways, this'll probably be the last PaRappa product thjat'll be ever made seen in the US... |

Well, it won't be the last PaRappa product to come out in the U.S. ... official one anyways...
http://x-strikestudios.com/parappa.html They've also done movies on River City Ransom, Silent Hill, and are currently working on Metal Gear Solid. Of course they can't call them that, though... |
