right now I reading love hina and I think its a really great series so I was wondering what other manga there is that's similar to love hina. please tell me in what ways your recommendation is similar to love hina also.

I'd say... Try Negima.

But if you're only looking for manga like Love Hina, then you'll be disappointed, as Love Hina was one of a great many insipid and rather wear series.

I would say the Tenchi series. It's like Love Hina in that an insipid loser finds himself surrounded by a plethora of gorgeus women, however it is a sci-fi series so about 99% of them are aliens. There's some sci-fi based action but I never read any of the manga. I just remember the tv series that was on toonami.

The Tenchi manga isnt all that great. If you wish to I think checking out the anime may be better.

I think you may also find Ichogo 100% interesting if you like love hina.

I have seen the tenchi OAV's and I didn't find them all that interesting. I'll go check out Negima & Ichogo 100% though.

If you like Love Hina, then i would suggest giving AI Loves You a shot. It's done by the same person, and it has to do with a couple hotchicks and some not-too-popular guy. Hijinks included.

I would recommend Ai Yori Aoshi. It has a harem storyline, which is similar to Love Hina. Most of the women in the house falls for Kaoru, the lead male character, but he is only in love with one girl, Aoi. They have been engaged since they were children and it was arranged by their families. After being separated for 18 years, they find see each other again. But, due to unfortunate circumstances, they have to keep their engagement a secret. It is a really great and sweet love story. I think you will enjoy it.
