I have postcards that have come with a couple of anime series and have never really done anything with them. What do you do? Anybody actually use them as postcards? Hang them on your wall? Use them for inspiration to draw something?

To me, they're like any other collectible included with a release. I keep them with their respective series. Like the pencil boards that Geneon would include in their releases, I pull out the postcards to look at every now and then, but not much else. I definitely don't use them as postcards.

Generally I stick them up on my wall, I do that for some of the promo cards that TRSI puts in my packages as well. As for the rest I generally ask around at my anime club to see if anyone wants them/use them as part of the display for our club during the club expo.

I have a stack of postcards next to my monitor at the moment. I always keep them but I don't really have any special use for them at the moment. Maybe eventually I'll pick up a bulletin board or something and stick them up.

Of the few I've ever gotten (mostly for Mushi-shi), I don't do a damn thing with them, I leave them in their respective DVD case. I have plenty of other things to use as bookmarks, old Pokemon cards and whatnot. I don't find them to be particularly useful or interesting bonus items honestly, I barely even notice they're there

If you are talking about the survey cards, then I use them as scratch pads to write stuff on.

I put mine in three ring binders. Comic shops and Hallmark stores have plastic sheets with pockets in various sizes. These can hold the post cards and mini pencil boards and such that came with some releases. The pages intended for trading cards also work with the playing cards that have been available for some series. TRSI has some decks for very low prices. Advertising post cards and even full pages of artwork from magazines such as New Type can be archived this way.

I keep them with their respective DVDs just like I do with Pencil Boards. Those advertisement cards for anime from Rightstuf go on my wall though...at least the ones that aren't duplicates or anime I don't like.

Same here. Since they're usually free (or come with a cheap premium in special editions), it saves me a trip to the bookstore.

No, they mean actual post cards. They usually have a picture on the front of the characters or other show-related artwork. On the back, they have a section to write a small note, one for the address, plus the spot for the stamp.

I've never even seen an anime postcard xD, maybe that means I need to buy more complete series bundles.

They're actually really common, especially in Japan. Newtype magazine has them every so often.
