This was my first thought too, since Aniplex holds the rights to Nanoha. I really hope this is the case.

That is highly unlikely. Any new Nanoha anime would just end up on nanoha.com
Also, "vivid" is hardly a word created by Nanoha Vivid, and going from that to "Vivid Red" seems....like a stretch.
So no, almost certainly not a Nanoha Vivid anime, if for no other reason than that Movie 2nd A's still isn't out.

I originally thought it could be related to the Aniplex/Dengeki G's Magazine collaboration. But, after checking out the website linked in the article, which seems to think it might be related to Nanoha Vivid, I edited my post.

I'm pretty sure all the anime rights to Nanoha are held by King Records, since it was really them who built the franchise. I didn't know that Aniplex had any involvement at any point, but I could have forgotten something.
For that reason alone, I doubt that this has anything to do with Nanoha.

Yea, it sure looks like Nanoha is held by King Records (quick lookie at Amazon at random Nanoha dvd/bd show them as publisher).

They did do the Nanoha Movie, at least. I saw that and just kinda assumed they did the rest.

Looks like this is one of those cases where a lot of big names came together. Aniplex, Kadokawa, and King Records all played roles in the movie, with King Records doing the publishing/distribution of the Blu-Ray/DVD (along with music/artist rights, as always). Makes sense, though, given how big the franchise has become. I suppose it does open the possibility that a similar collaboration could be at hand this time... if that's indeed what the domain is for.

Really, really unlikely.
Seriously, someone come up with a plausible way to connect the two things other than the word "Vivid".
Vivio's image color isn't even red! Its navy blue!

Looks like my original thought of the registered domain being related to the Aniplex/Dengeki G's Magazine upcoming project was wrong since that has it's own website (forgot about that). Unless, Aniplex decided to register another domain for it.
Then again, sometimes registering domains lead to nothing at all.
