Not sure if this is a known thing but it seems kind of dire as it doesn't work on hulu: Google chrome's adblock lets you skip the commercials on crunchyroll.

I am aware of various ways to block ads and am pretty sure those ways would apply to Crunchyroll also. I'm a paying subscriber though and have been for like 2 years now. I subscribe so that I can watch things in HD and right when they come out.
Also - I can't stand Hulu lately. They've really gone downhill.

They definitely are as if you mail them about having trouble with playback, turning off any ad blockers was the first thing they suggest. They probably still get paid for every time the ads are "triggered" and logged on their server anyway, so maybe it doesn't matter if the thing plays or gets blocked after the trigger?

You can block them them with Firefox too.... Twisted Evil

as a computer tech yeah I am aware, however I use the roku box to stream on my 32in lcd hd tv... ad blocking doesn't work there so paying 7 dollars month is worth it.
