Have any of you purchased this box set

Bluray won't happen very soon, I don't even think it's been on bluray in Japan yet.

No Blu-ray release in Japan at the moment. If there is no Blu-ray release there, there is virtually no chance of it happening in the U.S.
Even if there is a JP BD release, there is the matter of the Bandai Ent. license status. In either case, it's not likely we will see an US BD release any time soon. |

I have it on one of my orders right now so yeah I guess if you want to own it I'd get it.
Anime Legends is a re-release of the series after the individual volumes come out. I personally like it since it keeps all 6 dvds in one case instead of individual cases which take up way to much room though Anime Legends line do tend to run a little dry on extras 
As for discs skipping episodes, I haven't had any trouble with my Gundam Seed & Destiny discs yet. |
