Theres one for yori (sp) so why not Yuri, any gd yuri anybody knows, iv never even heard of a single series pornagraphic or not so any names and discriptions would help

Kannazuki no Miko: I've only watched the first episode, so I can't really say that much about it, but it's about a very intimate and somewhat secret friendship between a girl named Himeko and and a very popular classmate, Chikane. The main male lead is somewhat possessed and his posessed self works for a syndicate out to get them, and I guess they pretty much fight this evil syndicate while falling in love somehow. It's got a fair amount of cliches in my eyes, but there's certainly shoujo-ai.
Maria-sama ga Miteru: Set in a Catholic School, and contains some more subtle shoujo-ai elements. Again, the setup is "ordinary girl and popular girl." Basically, the popular girl, Sachiko, takes in the ordinary girl, Yumi, as a "younger sister," and the series revolves around their school life from there. There's also the sequel to the series, "MariMite~Haru~". Simoun: I've not seen this one, but I have heard good things about it. Apparently, the girls in the series are able to choose which gender to become as "an adult," and the series involves a decent amount of action. Mai-HiME: I won't spoil too much, but there's some shoujo-ai toward the end, although it is one way (and there's a lot of doujinshi/fanfic on it too). Overall, a good series, had its comedical moments, heart-rendering moments, and a lot of good action and fight sequences. Strawberry Panic: It's somewhat like Maria-sama ga Miteru, except its not subtle about its yuri content and it throws it right out at the viewer. Another "ordinary/new girl + popular girl" setup, and it involves prestigious private schools (three of them, in fact). I heard that it gets immensely better after Episode 12 (there was a thread about it), but I have not seen that far. Kashimashi: Basically, a very girly boy gets changed into a girl by aliens, and its basically shoujo-ai from there. Two aliens also come to live with the main male (er, female) lead, one of which repeated cries out "onee-nii sama!" My one gripe is that Yasuna is really annoying, and is undeserving of an awesome seiyuu such as Horie Yui. |

is Burst Angel or Baku-Ten considered yuri?

Now why on Earth would Kimi ga Nozomu Eien (Rumbling Hearts) be considered yuri? I don't know about Baku-ten, but Kiminozo doesn't even have hints of shoujo-ai content in it.

Yep, its got a good story too. And girls have to make out to power their airships, which is simply the most awsome idea in the history of awsome ideas. Mai-Otome the sequel of sorts to Mai-Hime happens to have considerably more Yuri undertones than its predecessor, highly reccomend it as just an overall good show. Strawberry Panic has indeed started to own these days by throwing all that mari-mite sublety crap out the window and just treating all characters as assumed lesbians and heating up the action with some near (and not so near) sexual encounters in the latest episodes. |

frentymon mentioned all the ones I know of besides Utena.
Two I think deserve special attention if you're looking for Yuri though: Strawberry Panic, and Kannazuki no Miko aren't just chock full of it, they're about the yuri. |

With Bakuretsu Tenshi, it's really hard to say. Meg is really affectionate toward Jo, but they've had quite a long history together and it seems to be more of a strong friendship than shoujo-ai. Although, with Jo's short hair, tomboyish attitude, and always rescuing Meg, it's really hard to say if it is just a really good friendship or something more. Given the casting out of that cook kid, Jo's new role as the husky hero, and Meg's increasing approaches toward Jo, I would say that Meg has indeed fallen for Jo, and this series does in fact contain some yuri content (although in itself, it is not a "yuri series"). I wouldn't recommend this series though, as it is, IMO, pretty terrible.
What was I thinking when I assumed that "Baku-ten" was some kind of 3 episode OVA with loli characters? Oh, that's right, I mixed it up with Pita-ten. [EDIT] Sorry about the excessive edits; I had to debate against myself whether there were hints of yuri or not. The "No Yuri, 'kay next" side popped out first and caused me to type an impulsive response, but in the end, the "YES ZOMG THERE IS YURI!" side made a comeback and ultimately won. I most definitely wouldn't call it yuri either, but it only appears to be a harem show at first. There are clearly yuri undertones to Jo and Meg's relationship, but just having girl love doesn't make it a yuri show. I just watched Mai-Otome (with which I was very pleasantly surprised) and there's a reference (sometimes very blatant, like when Shizuru gets a congeal [is that the right word?] visit in jail) in just about every episode; but no matter how you look at it, it isn't a yuri show.
