I started to watch the show and i'm liking it, but is it repetative throughout the whole series. I've seen the first 5 eps so far and it is basically the same thing over and over. spoiler[ Guy goes and sings in middle of battle, people on transport ship are amazed and punks or gangs stop hating him as the enemy retreats]. I just want to know if it's like that the whole series or is there a change sometime?
Do they ever sing different songs? |

You'll have to watch until ep21 to see a major break into the storyline: it becomes fairly interesting after that
And yes, there will be different songs too |

If you are a Macross fan then you should at least watch up to episode 25. I was very skeptical of the show at first but once I hit that point I was hooked. Plus I got addicted to that crazy J-pop. If you need to learn more about Macross go to www.macrossworld.com

Currently I'm in the middle of it (ep. 33). What I've noticed is that things happen in bursts in this show. When the repetition settles in suddenly a lot of important events occur in the next 3 episodes (the entire show seems to be up and down like that). I'm enjoying it, but you definitley have to give it time.
