Hi I've heard some news about a couple of great stores on ebay, which sells anime series for like 20.00 or less in dvd bundels, I was wondering if anyone has heard anything about this or know any of the stores thanks!

98% of them are bootlegs.

If I were buying anime from eBay, I would probably buy anything but DVDs.

And model kits. They are good at making knock-off model kits.

Bootlegs....I am betting that most of them are bootlegs. If you want information on how to protect yourself read this.

eBay is definately not the place to buy DVDs or anime-related merchandise. I got ripped by a seller(who luckily did refund my $55) for a Haibane Renmei Box Set(legit too).

It was a 2-3 month problem. I will never buy from there again. I'll stick to my DeepDiscountDVD from now on.

Yeah I learned the hard way most of those are bootlegs. And don't let the new factory sealed fool you either. That doesn't mean it's a legal version.

Exactly best to find out is to Message them and ask directly is this an R1 version from Bandai (Or whomever) if they beat around the bush their fakes. If they yes, and turn out to be fakes use paypal to get your money back. Tell paypal that you lied to and didn't receive the DVD that you were promised, then leave a nasty negative comment.
