So which character in anime or manga is the coolest? Who wins in a fight, Vash (trigun) or Spike (cowboy bebop)? Who's stronger Seta (love hina) or Roger Smith(the big o)?
I want you to answer to 4 questions:
Who's your fav? (doesn't have to be supercool)
Who's the smartest?
Who's the coolest?
All your personal opinions (so no flaming! fire bad!) (unless they say something like Ash (pokemon) is the smartest Wink then they kinda deserve to be flamed) and don't forget to explain!

Okay. I'm game. We're just talking about male characters, right?

Anyways. My favorite male anime characters:
Spike Spiegel, Duke Togo, Maeno (Ping Pong Club), Roger Smith

Who's the Smartest?
This is a tough one because of all the anime I've seen, few male characters seem to stand above the rest in terms of smarts. The ones that do stick out in my mind (don't know if they're really smart or not) are Captain Global of Macross, Lupin III, and Bean Bandit in Riding Bean (he may not look smart but he was able to quickly figure out what was going on).

The coolest?
Duke Togo. Anyone who can kick people's asses with ZERO melodramatics and ZERO trashtalking, bang chicks at will, AND collect his money is A-#1 COOL in my book.

Anyway the smartest anime character I think would have to be Alucard. When you alive for thousands of years you got to pick something up right Wink

The smartest is Washuu of course. And the ping pong club is just nasty.

Ahem, Char Aznable qualifies on all fronts.

Strength: He's a soldier at the height of his training in 0079, a ruthless mercenary in Zeta, a hyper-evolved superhuman in Char's Counterattack, and a nigh indestructible clone in Gaia Gear.

Intelligence: C'mon, from the way he routed the Zabi family to his manipulation of the Federation spoiler[almost] towards their total annihilation, Char is a mastermind.

Coolness factor: He's the Gundam universe's original tortured pretty boy in a mask. Women throw themselves at his feet and his men gladly sacrifice themselves in his name. He's even consistently ranked higher in popularity polls than series hero Amuro Ray.

Once more; Strong, Smart, Cool= Char Aznable.

Well, in that case, Washu is definetely the smartest in my book. And my favorite anime character of all time is Priss Asagiri from both incarnations of BGC.

Coolest: Nuriko! I just can't help but love him. Come on, a crossdresser with superhuman strength? Fun! And I love his personality.
Who wins in a fight: Vash He's not mortal!
Better Fighter: *dunno, never seen either series*
Favorite: Tie between Kurama and Nuriko Nuriko for above reasons, and Kurama because he's smart, hot, and so good at making people look like idiots without even trying. He's a fox too, and foxes are my favorite animals!
