I haven't posted on the boards in quite some time since I stopped watching anime but that only lasted about a year or so. Nevertheless, I just finished watching Higurashi no Naku Koro ni at the suggestion of a friend and I absolutely loved it. I'm really inching for more horror/mystery/psychological anime to watch. I'd rather not have this turn into a list tread so please give a brief description of the plot (without revealing spoilers of course) so that I can get a general idea of the show. I'll list some of the anime I've seen that would fall under the genres so that some of you won't have to mention duplicates and so on. I will take suggestions from both licensed and unlicensed shows, thank you.
Hellsing (horror, i guess.. but not really) Berserk Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Monster Texhnolyze Serial Experiments Lain Boogiepop Phantom Ghost in the Shell (psychological, i guess) Trinity Blood (labeled as horror, but just boring) Blood: The Last Vampire Blame! (ugh) Gungrave (might fit in the genres) Perfect Blue Pet Shop of Horrors Petite Cossette Speed Grapher Vampire Hunter D & Bloodlust Witch Hunter Robin Paranoia Agent |
