I agree. For me, panties is another level from a bikini.
I just haven't seen many of these, to me, strange additions to BD/DVD sets. Since I'm in Australia, can I now look down on both Japanese and American anime distributors? 
Or, am I yet to be exposed to something similar happening in Aus? |

WEll, off course no all otaku are perverts, but a lot of them definitely are. Like me. I am bi. I'm always willing to have sex for fun, and yes, it happens quite often, no problem finding (mostly) boys and also sometimes girls who also want to play around in cos-play.
About half my anime-watching friends are total, 100%, certified perverts like myself, level 'dream job ? Cosplay porn!! X-D' The other half are totally non-perverted. They're kind of crazy off course, but not in a perverted way. 
One of the fun things I like about conventions is that everyone just mingles and everyone can be who they want. There is the girls (including some I know) and boys who like to show off with sexy cosplay and pantsu shot photo's, there are some events like the hentai voice over (fandub with people from the audience, in front of 500 or more people, always fun to partake in!! D  and the EMV and the tentacle rape monster-building workshop, which are 18+ and supremely perverted. You can buy (rape/other) hentai in the dealer room and I once saw a girl cosplaying as Miku reading a hentai with herself in it, it was funny X-D
You can also be totally normal and non-perverted and still have just a good a time. It's this blend of perverted and non-perverted people which is one of the things which attracts me so much to cons

This is the type of job I personally wouldn't want to have: marketing. In real life, my somewhat antisocial personality has cost me a job (telling a hooker joke at a local Home Depot).

Well, that 1/1 Sonico wasn't mass-produced for the retail market, although you have to believe that there were probably offers made to purchase it. To the best of my knowledge, the biggest Sonico figure to actually be mass-produced was 1/2 scale, but it wouldn't surprise me to see a mass-produced 1/1 Sonico in the near future. |
