I'm eyeing Kokoro Connect and Blast of Tempest, any opinions on either of these? I don't currently own any Aniplex titles (at least none that I paid out the nose for, I got those two Gurren Lagann movie DVDs used for $3 a piece after all), but $50 a half set is almost the price of other companies not-on-sale prices, lol. And Kokoro Connect just looks interested, would the OVA be necessary here?

I really enjoyed Blast of Tempest a lot, I'd recommend it, especially now since it's the cheapest you're going to find it ever. I don't remember enough about Gokusen to comment either way on that one, although I'm sure I've seen it.

There hasn't been a lot this year yet that has caught my eye, but I did pick up Leviathan (S) BD since it's so cheap and that show was charmingly dumb.

I also finally grabbed a replacement for my long-lost copy of Serial Experiments Lain, this time the BD/DVD combo instead of just DVD.

Probably gonna put in another order in a few days, depending on what else shows up. The markdown on PMMM Rebellion Movie is tempting, too.

Yeah, Leviathan's getting rereleased with a dub in a month or so. Some sale titles are post clearance and some are pre-clearance.

Hm, nothing very tempting in today's additions.

Yeah, I saw it was getting another release with a dub (and was honestly a little surprised) but I'm content to get a subbed one, especially at that discount.

Does anybody else find it weird that Persona 4 Blu-ray Collection 2 is on sale but not Collection 1? I noticed this when looking at the previous day.

Product Availability says "We'll get it for you". This usually means not in stock and in general short supply. I'm guessing but maybe that's why? If you look Persona 4 DVD Collection 2 is in the closeout items section. They just maybe trying to clear out the older 2 set versions. There's been a couple of closeout items on the xmas sale.

So, anyone else noticing a problem with the Gundam Unicorn bundle?

It's the exact same bundle that was offered on Day 1 (for $57.99), with a different price ($54.98). Except if you click the link, it takes you to the same page (and price) as Day 1.

Patlabor is quite tempting, but its still $100+ all together. A good price, but Im probably gonna skip it since Im on a budget and I'd like to get as much as possible within that budget

I did actually notice that. Wonder what's up with that. Either someone forgot Gundam is already on there or it's a mistake

Gundam Unicorn has been removed from Day 10. I alerted them last night via twitter, and they thanked me and fixed it today.

Thinking about Gundam Unicorn, do you think that rightstuf will ever get around to releasing BDs for the series at more reasonable prices than Bandai Visual has?

Also, does anyone know what happened to that limited release of Star Blazers 2199?

Nothing that really has my eye this time around

I do want some opinions again though, Im thinking of switching out Gundam UC from my cart with The Patlabor collections. Which of the two would some of you guys recommend? Other than watching some of them on and off on Toonami years ago, I never really watched Gundam, would UC be a good start? I've never seen anything Patlabor related on the other hand
