They should of put it on Hulu or YouTube, kids aren't going to pay $3 a episode..

A lot of people aren't willing to shell out that much. A lot of people likely would opt for a subscription site to see it streamed.

The amount of episodes is actually 52. Because of each episode's running time, when it was brought to the states they were combined into 26 episodes.

It's not $3 an episode. It's $2 (or $2.29 on iOS) for all 8 episodes together. (after episode 1, which is free).
