I'm not surprised. The Naruto wave is running really strong because everyone wants to finish the series to the end and knowing this is the last part, officially closing the book on the world for now (aside from any remaining light novels), it means a ton to people.
I want to see this film but my area of the US rarely gets stuff like this in theaters, so I'm stuck waiting for the Bluray release. |

I still think Boruto's parents raised him better than Sasuke. Heck, even Naruto's dad atoned (of sorts) for what he did in sealing Kurama inside Naruto.

I'm a bit surprised that it is outpacing The Last, but I suppose some of that can be explained by people not wanting to miss out on the final bits of the story, and by people hoping that if it does well enough, maybe more will be made.
