Cool. Another chance for Kakeru to make himself likeable I guess? Entire show I just struggled to see what anyone saw in his blandness.

kakeru is a shitty character some people like him only because he commit suicide , and i don't think he will play important parts in the movie as the text say this movie is about suwa and how he will make the relationship between naho and kakeru more easier for kakeru .

this what i think the movie will be about .

This story doesn't need sequel of spin-offs. What they are doing.

Interesting movie spin-off for it. I'll check it out when it comes out. I enjoyed the series for the most part. Haven't watched the finale just yet though.

I don't like the fact that this manga series was put in a seinen magazine, for what reason?! This manga is a shoujo series not a seinen one. Sad

Or maybe you could stop thinking in stereotypes... Also, magazines branch out, want new readers, want to add some variety to their lineup, etc. Would you be surprised to hear that a manga about a pretty boy doing female roles in kabuki and crossdressing a lot and ending up with a boyfriend is not BL, nor shoujo, but in fact shounen? (This is Kunisaki Izumo no Jijou, it was serialized in Weekly Shounen Sunday.)

Hopefully it's where naho finally puts her foot down and chooses suwa.

Didn't watch the anime ( read the manga ), but I'll probably watch this. I didn't like Kakeru at all really. Suwa is great though, I would love for present him to get a happy ending with Naho.

Personally I didn't think the manga was all that special, just a decent shojo series (yeah I know it's "seinen"). They whole series was about self cockblocking. lol Even worse was hearing the female MC in the future going on and on about "gee I wish Kakeru didn't die, while holding Suwa's daughter". Suwa was getting kicked all over despite being a good person and husband.

What on earth? The manga and anime had a reasonably fine ending. Now they want to make a sequel film? What for? I'll be optimistic and keep an eye on this since Suwa is mah dude.

The author switched from a shoujo to a seinen magazine because she kept getting pressured by the higher ups to make a happy ending and to make the series less depressing. She didn't agree with them, ended up taking a hiatus and then continuing in a different magazine.

Was seeing his friend alive and happy not a happy enough ending for him?

While spoiler[Kakeru was saved], I just thought Suwa deserved more than that. After the series ended, it didn't feel like everything was wrapped up for his character and there was more to tell. I really just want Suwa to have closure. That is why I'm happy a sequel film will be released that may give answers. Did this answer your question?
