Well, it hasn't exactly been licensed yet. Give it some time; I'm sure it will be soon.

I'd be more interested in official light novel translations, which may happen, but I'm not holding my breath just yet. I can see the manga getting licensed at some point, though.

, well good at least I am not skipping it out of bad luck.
Weird how it's taking so long though. School Rumble was out way before the anime among others
Thanks for the info

That I would like as well, but for right now we won't be getting anything until someone decides they actually want to license any kind of the books.

As far as I know, a single manga volume is confirmed via Wiki. Anything more than that -- I cannot say.

It should be noted, though, that in School Rumble's case the manga was created first and the anime came later. For Haruhi, the manga is not the original format of the story, the light novel is, and manga that are adapted from other source material are pretty crappy, more often than not.

In the case of the second Haruhi manga series it is being better recieved than the first one was.

Well, we got the Welcome to the NHK light novels, and light novels are becoming more popular to translate. So I'd say it's actually quite possible. I'd be highly interested in reading the novels myself.
