Yeah, that's definitely an eye opener. All the overtime in Japan has really proven to be a problem that they refuse to fix despite it not doing any good for the country currently. All it does is burn people out and exacerbate all the other problems in Japanese society.

I've often thought that if WWIII starts and the nuclear bombs drop everywhere, at least I won't have to go to work tomorrow.
See, people tell me I should look for the silver lining in things, but when I actually do and say things like that above, they tell me I'm doing it wrong.

Yeesh, and people say that Americans work too hard. We have no idea what it's like over there.
His message rings with truth, running away from your problems isn't the solution. Just like they say that moving to a different country (like Japan) isn't going to guarantee your happiness. If you want change you have to deal with the unpleasantness that comes with it.
