I remember people calling for that character's death in the comment forum on Crunchyroll. While season one was far from perfect it was at least entertaining fluff and I enjoyed some the power set of the characters. Despite it being so cliché. Although it did suffer from the problem overly expository dialogue in the first two episodes.

The ANN reviewer for Asterisk S2 stopped calling her by name - instead just referring to her as TMAVIAA (The Most Annoying Voice In All Anime).

I actually don't think that's Erica as Irene, been listening to a few clips of the character and it just doesn't sound like Erica's voice to me unless I'm totally wrong and it's some voice acting black magic. The only thing I'm even sure of is that Christine Marie Cabanos is voicing Priscilla, even though she hasn't announced it

she wasnt that bad at the slightest. and considering how much people complained , there is a chance the dub version of that maid wont be the worst case scenario and be the exact same way. but considering that this is an aniplex product and they have a nasty religion of having their english dubs ridiculously faithful to their sub counterparts, its a mood point at the least.
regardless, this series a definite improvement over other harem based series that are based off of light novels where the main is either a completely girl phobic ala ichika orimura or touma kamajo. though he definitely have small hints of having a big sis com like ichika. and i technically wouldnt call it a harem as of yet. unless pricella's sister irene get into the mix as well.
